A week ago I got my mom’s 2012 Hyundai Elantra that looks exactly like this. It’s so refreshing to drive a smaller car in a really nice color (especially after a wash) and it’s a lot more fun to drive than I expected now that I’ve driven it for extended periods of time. Everyone who has seen it always says the color makes the car look really nice and I’m glad I don’t have a black car anymore. Apart from the fact that it’s an automatic it’s pretty much what I would want. I should be content with this car for the next few years.

Hyundais went from being ugly ducklings to being some of the best-designed cars in the business. And it’ll be dead reliable. Wish I’d had one when I was your age. Instead I subsisted on a diet of old Volvos.

She got a Crosstrek. I’ve only driven it once but it seems pretty nice.

I think the Elantra is much better looking than the Sonata of the same vintage, don’t know why but I just don’t like it. The Azera is probably the best looking of the lineup. It’s almost certainly going to be reliable despite puffing out a huge cloud of smoke a few days ago. I’m sure it was just carbon deposits ;)

Nice! My partner has a 2016 GT the same color and we love it. I am NOT a fan of its Eco mode, though.
